The Sex Cult Cousins: LIVE! LIVE! LIVE! – Adelaide Fringe Review

Written by Tayla Giles

With a name as outrageous as their song lyrics, The Sex Cult Cousins LIVE! LIVE! LIVE! made their world debut last week at the Adelaide Fringe by well and truly bringing the house down.

Nestled in the heart of the Garden of Unearthly Delights, the seemingly quaint Cupola tent was turned into a rock’n’roll riot club with standing (and dancing) room only, forcing everyone up on their feet to rock the night away.

Captivating the crowd with his mischievous London accent and devilish laughter was lead singer Tommy Bradson, who truly poured his heart and soul into a passionate performance filled with bucketfuls of sweat, blood, and tears of rage.

Backing Bradson’s otherworldly vocals was Adelaide born and bred God of Guitar, Sam Leske, whilst a variety of different musical misfits channel their rage into thrashing the drums each night.

Describing themselves as a Frankenstein-like creature created from a mishmash of rock-pop-punk-surf-swamp-jungle-Kpop-emo; The Sex Cult Cousins promises to deliver a rock’n’roll horror show, unlike anything you’ve ever witnessed before.

The Sex Cult Cousins will be rocking the roof off of the Cupola tent in the Garden of Unearthly Delights every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 10:45pm from 28 February –16 March, so be sure to snap up tickets while they’re still hot!
