Last Friday evening, Zi Life opened their shiny new boutique in Harbour Town’s shopping precinct. On the night, they also launched their newest swimwear range, which is on sale now!

Founded by Daisy, Zi Life is an Australian based clothing brand, with a focus on swimwear. The brand aims to provide customers with quality clothing at an affordable price. Recently, they have branched out and are now stocking skincare products from KORA Organics, Ultraceuticals, and Jurlique. You will also find Son One Neo in store; this streetwear clothing brand is designed for visual impact and also donates 5% of total sales to Australian mental health charities.

Each year, Daisy will travel around the world to carefully source the best materials for Zi Life. The swimwear range is made from quality Italian lycra and high-density cotton. Although quality is a huge factor, the brand also ensures that all products are made ethically and exclusively to order, by bespoke swimwear tailors.

Zi Life actively promotes healthy happy living. In order to showcase this, they recruit fun loving and confident young women of all sizes and nationalities to model the range. They have an excellent brand ambassador program, which is available to those who are interested and fit the criteria (details on their website).

If you have any questions or want to find out more about Zi Life, feel free to visit their website at www.zilife.com.au. Happy shopping!

The sold-out Wine + Wardrobe event presented by Onio Boutique was a night filled with fabulous fashion, gourmet goodies, local wine, and entertainment.

The event was held at Serafino Wines, in McLaren Vale. The region is well known for quality wine, so it seems only fitting that the event took place here.

Our tickets included return bus transport, wine, cocktail food, live entertainment and access to the fashion show; non-transport tickets were also available for purchase too.

It was comforting to know that proceeds from the ticket sales would go to Make-A-Wish Australia. The charity helps make the wishes of children and teenagers battling with life-threatening illnesses come true. Wine + Wardrobe also organised a raffle to raise further funds for the charity; the goal was $5,000, but together we managed to raise over $6,000 on the night!

Raffle prizes were generously donated by Salena Estate Wines, Hilton Adelaide, Jurlique, Lunch Bunch Edible Bouquets, Gelato Bello, Oak & Ivory, IAMAMARA Illustrations, BrushdLove, Soul to Soul and others.

Samantha Maschio, Domenique Caraccia (owner of Onio Boutique) and Alexia Eleni (owner of 808 Threads) were our gracious hosts, who helped all guests feel welcome. The venue itself had a rustic charm to it, creating a warm and inviting environment. We enjoyed live music by Renae Albuino (singer) and Kyle Demasi (DJ), while walking around with a glass of Serafino wine in hand. Serafino Wines treated us to an open bar, with a selection of their finest wines. The fun didn’t stop there; we also got to create our own plate filled with gourmet goodies from the grazing table, catered by Tasteful Tables. Guests took advantage of the beautiful flower frame, by A Wall of Flowers, and the Wine + Wardrobe sign, by The Little Laser Co; many photos were taken there that night.

Now, onto the fashion! The runway showcased a variety of local boutiques and clothing lines for men and women. These included 808 Threads, Emente Apparel, Beach Life Clay, Harvey Seeker, Steeze Villains Clothing, Siskool and Brooks & Badger; each with their own unique style and flair. It was refreshing to see a variety of models, coming in all shapes and sizes. 808 Threads is one of the boutiques who actively promote body positivity and empowerment. They provide affordable garment hire for women size 10 and up; they love looking out for our gorgeous curvy SA ladies. During the intermittent, dancers from Star Academy Adelaide performed and kept us all entertained.

Upon departure, all guests were given a Jurlique gift bag to take home. NYX Professional Makeup Australia and Brascos Pizzeria also added some goodies to the bag too. Overall, the event proved to be a fun-filled night all about supporting our local businesses, while raising money for those who need it most. Congratulations to Onio Boutique for presenting yet another successful Wine + Wardrobe event! I’m already looking forward to the next one!

When we gathered at Hot Yoga by Belinda, our bodies were transformed! We whipped out our activewear, laced-up our sneakers and ventured down to the Belinda's Erindale studio where we had the chance to try out a series of brand new Pilates reformers.

Belinda is a fitness instructor with many years of experience in teaching yoga, Pilates and water aerobics. She completed her Bikram Yoga teacher training under Bikram Choudry in 2011, and then completed further training in Pilates. Belinda is also a mother to six beautiful children, which has helped her understand the importance of personal fitness and wellbeing and the impact it has on our day to day lives. Belinda emphasises that yoga gives you the opportunity to connect the body, mind, and soul, while also helping tone muscle and alleviate stress.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our gracious host, Bradley, from Bruni and Bruin Digital Marketing. Belinda then introduced herself and Craig, from Platinum Physiotherapy SA. Craig is a permanent onsite physiotherapist, who will be working closely with Belinda and her clients. He will be offering physio, Pilates and dry needling services.

From the Wild supplied us with beautiful raw treats. All recipes created by the business are gluten free, dairy free, vegan-friendly, soy free, grain free and refined sugar-free, made with local produce, coconut products and a plethora of nuts and seeds. We also got to sip on our favourite drinks from MOJO Kombucha, which we all know and love!

On the night, Belinda and Craig took us through to the studio and gave us a basic rundown of how to use the equipment correctly. We then hopped on the reformers and had a go ourselves!

The studio itself is warm, inviting and decorated in neutral tones. The mirrored exercise room is spacious enough to accommodate 30 people. Change room(s) and shower facilities are available, as well as refreshments and yoga apparel too.

Belinda offers 3 different classes:

  1. Hot Yoga; a full body workout in a heated room.
  2. Hot Pilates; work against gravity to tone and strengthen your entire body in a heated room.
  3. Hotflow Yoga; provide deep stretches to elongate and restore sore, tired muscles.

Physical benefits include:
  • Eliminates toxins
  • Burns fat
  • Strengthens bones
  • Expands lung capacity
  • Balances the endocrine glands
  • Regulates hormones
  • Regulates cholesterol in the blood
  • Flushes out the lymphatic system
  • Improved flexibility
  • Increased muscle strength and tone
So under the one roof, you will have access to yoga, Pilates, and physiotherapy; it’s your new one-stop shop for fitness and health! So what are you waiting for? Come on down and join us on our journey to happier and healthier living!

'The Edition' has been on everyone's lips since Diamond Management Group announced they'll be hosting their first ever fashion Q+A with accompanying runway event to the public earlier this month.

Situated just off The Parade in Norwood, Adelaide fashionista's from all around gathered in the warmth of the exposed brick incased Osmond Tce Function Centre to gawk and gander at our city's best local designers.

With complimentary champagne on arrival, the scene was set - Harvey Seeker, Couture+Love+Madness, Dark Thorn and Shayne Brooke The Label had their wears on show for a taste of what their labels can do for our pre-runway viewing.

Other local businesses like The Candle Establishment, Niki Belle and Glami Glam, filled the room to the brim with homewares and fashions perfect for this weekends' upcoming Mother's Day.

The Q+A hosted by Kate Collins guided the audience through an awe-inspiring insight into each designer; uncovering their motivations, influences, past, present, and very exciting futures.

Shayne Brook from Shayne Brook The Label described her love for feminine fashion, incorporating lace and love into the latest collection; Mim Harvey from Harvey Seeker chatted about her life-changing experiences of her fashion journey that's taken her to China and beyond; Tori-Anne Gill from Dark Thorn proudly announced her upcoming collection feature in Paris Fashion Week; and Cristina Tridente from Couture+Love+Madness noted how her couture creations are made with the individual female body in mind, partnering style with flattering cuts.

We were then treated to a gorgeous fashion show from each designer; an eclectic mix of period pieces, modern day-wear, seductive attire and captivating couture.

A big thank you to Simone from DMG for putting together a great first affair of The Edition.

This Winter, Napoleon Perdis is charging into Adelaide to grace the faces of beauty seekers across the city. With their vast selection of cosmetics ranging from spray-on foundations to contouring products, Napoleon Perdis in conjunction with SA Beauty Supplies hosted an exclusive VIP event for beauty activists to learn directly from make-up artist and star, Nathan Kake.

The evening guided beauty salons, hair salons, beauty stockists and qualified personnel through the Napoleon Perdis favourites and how to get the absolute best out of your products. With such a vast range of products, the cosmetics make the perfect addition to any MUA's beauty kit.

The extremely charming and relatable Nathan Kake was an absolute hoot that had the room in stitches multiple times. The artist whose work has recently been featured on The Voice, guided us through the must-have buys of the range, injecting every moment with cheeky humour and expert advice.

I was especially impressed with the Auto Pilot Brightening Skin Primer and the Boudoir Mist Spray Foundation

We would like to thank the Marketing Coordinator, Elle Thomas, and SA Beauty Supplies for inviting us to experience this game-changing event! Thank you.
