The legend is true. The Lost City of Atlantis has arisen from its watery depths to bring Adelaidians cocktails, wood oven pizzas, and the spectacle that is a HUGE 25,000 LITRE INDOOR AQUARIUM!

With a stunning outside European inspired beer garden of sorts, mixed with the luscious interior (literal gold toilets people), I actually really recommend checking out Atlantis Bar & Longue especially right before dusk - the city located away from the craziness translates to awesome sunset filled skies without the noise.

For food, the menu has a focus on sharing, with a variety of platters and pizzas which are just the right amount of delicious to devour the minute it's set down in front of you. For your drinks, you can choose from an expansive selection of cocktail, ciders, and wine.

If you’re for something a bit fancier... perhaps a beautiful cocktail? They have cocktails that are both extensive and unique, offering what may be one of the most varied drinks lists I have seen in a while! With tastes to suit everyone and reasonable prices, their cocktail selection is a go-to on a Friday night.

Whether you have a catch up with friends, a group gathering or needing a venue space, make Atlantis Bar and Lounge your next destination.

This Sunday in collaboration with NUMU, Atlantis is hosting Australia Day 2020 @ Atlantis to raise much-needed funds for the recent Australian bushfires with 100% of entry tickets being donated to the KI Mayoral Fund. The event has a sponsored Fashion parade by Finesse Models Australia featuring Romp Squad Apparel & Harvey The Label.

You can find Atlantis Bar & Lounge at 163 Waymouth Street, Adelaide.

Prepare to sit back and enjoy the ride in Amity Dry’s latest show, Highway Superstar, premiering at this year’s Adelaide Fringe in Gluttony.

Direct from her critically-acclaimed sell-out shows, 39 Forever and Fortified, Highway
Superstar is a light-hearted musical cabaret that offers “fast” entertainment that will leave you clapping for more.

Amity said this show will take the audience on a “Carpool Karaoke” journey, singing along to all the greatest hits you secretly love to belt out in the car!

“There’s no song shame in this show – just crowd-pleaser tunes that everyone will love.

From the cringe-worthy 80s to 90s RnB, through to power pop and movie soundtrack greats – there’s something for everyone,” she said.

Audiences can expect Dry’s clever wit to shine throughout this musical tribute that will feature songs from the likes of John Farnham, Madonna, Cindy Lauper, The Bangles, Adele, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Toto and Foreigner to name a few.

“These are some of my all-time favourite songs and I can’t wait to share them with my audience. Get your girlfriends, bring a date, or even bring the kids for this night of guaranteed fun,” she said.

Highway Superstar premieres on February 14 – the opening night of this year’s Adelaide Fringe – in the Empire Theatre, Gluttony. There are 15 shows, all starting at 6.10 pm, suitable for ages 13+.

The highly anticipated SA4SA Bushfire Appeal Gala Dinner (Gala) set for Friday 31 January is now on sale, announcing a fundraising target of more than $100,000 to assist families and businesses affected by the horrific South Australian bushfires.

Money raised on the night will be donated to the SA Bushfire Appeal, announced by the Premier yesterday afternoon. The Appeal has been set up to raise funds for people directly affected by bushfires across South Australia, from November 2019 onwards, including Kangaroo Island and Cudlee Creek.

Every dollar donated to the SA Bushfire Appeal will go directly to those impacted by the fires, with the SA Government to absorb all administration costs.

Premier Steven Marshall said that the entire South Australian community stands shoulder to shoulder with those affected by these devastating bushfires.

“The sheer generosity shown by South Australians is an inspiration, with every dollar raised going directly to the many families and communities who need it most,” said Premier Marshall.

Aiming to sell more than 500 tickets, organisers are pulling together an unforgettable night celebrating our TrueBlue Aussie Spirit.

Guests will: hear stories of tragedy and triumph with communities coming together to overcome unfathomable adversity; enjoy a stellar entertainment line-up throughout the night; taste a delicious three-course menu celebrating SA produce matched with SA wines, and have the opportunity to purchase and win some incredible prizes that have been flooding in from corporates and local businesses alike through raffles and auctions on the night.

Glam Adelaide and Showcase SA are proud to be underpinning the event and have been using their corporate and community networks since December 20th to help drive support to those affected by the fires.

Media partners supporting the SA4SA Bushfire Appeal Gala include Seven, Southern Cross Austereo (Triple M and Hit107), Fresh 927 and SA Style.
