The Loft Adelaide’s Intimate Opening Night provided a sophisticated and stylish venue, suave tunes and a bar full of drinks to delight. Adelaide’s newest events venue brings a whole new level of upscale simplicity to the heart of the city; housing four beautiful rooms rich with history. The Loft Adelaide’s Intimate Opening Night allowed guests to take a peek into this timeless hidden gem in the heart of the CBD in what once was the Tattersalls Club.
Greeted by events coordinator and owner of The Loft Adelaide, Irina, we were treated to a red-carpet entrance and a glass of sparkling upon arrival. Being whisked off our feet on a tour through the four architecturally sound rooms, full to the brim with chic décor, we were able to mingle with other guests and take advantage of the evening’s photo booth supplied by Hashtag Insta Prints. A flourishing wall of beautifully adorned plants and a blanket of fairy lights hanging from the roof aiding as a backdrop for photo ops galore.
From the red-carpet entrance to the exquisite architecture of the venue and a funky photo booth; The Loft Adelaide’s Intimate Opening Night was a fairy tale of success!
So, what exactly is The Loft?
Think of it as a blank canvas that can be transformed into the perfect venue for any event, party or function! Located on the third floor just below Harry’s Bar on Grenfell Street, The Loft is nestled in the historic old 1917 Tattersalls Building that oozes old-fashioned charm with its high ceilings, large open windows and intricate stone walls. A spacious open-plan layout consists of three separate spaces perfect for a broad variety of different occasions.
Perfect for those smaller and more intimate cocktail events, The Lounge Loft suits a capacity between 20 – 80 people.
The pièce de résistance is the Main Loft, which is perfect for all those “extra” extravagant cocktail events and can welcome numbers between 40 – 160 people.

Tucked away in a separate room adjacent is a fully-stocked Cocktail Bar, which is included in all Main Loft bookings.
For those who go all out, the entire venue can also be booked out exclusively for up to 230 people. Bookings for both the Main and Lounge Lofts include flexible private bar options, complete staffing, music compatibility for USB, MP3 or laptop, and all furniture and décor such as a red carpet, lounges and cocktail tables. The Loft takes the hassle out of stressful event planning by offering customisable options to suit all your needs and make your event just that extra bit special – I mean what more could you possibly ask for?
