There are not many places in Adelaide that scream sophistication and fabulousness at every turn. I am so happy to announce that our very own Eastside has officially re-launched their own corner for glam competition - The Feathers.
The Feathers Hotel Precinct has been around for a while (and has always been glam), yet they have recently refurbished select areas of the precinct to offer Burnside Mumms a comprehensive dining, drinking, and lounging experience.
Adorned with lush greenery cascading from the shelves, the Garden Bar features an impressive spirit range with premium
tequila being a highlight, banquet seating, warm pendant lighting, tall windows, and large smoked mirrors, with contemporary
Georgian highlights to finish off the opulent garden aesthetic.
Adjacent to the Greenhouse Restaurant is the Lounge – a luxe, cozy and inviting space, complete with velvet low-slung
seating. It offers a signature drinks list and its very own specialised bites menu.

Refurbishments for the Greenhouse Restaurant, Garden Bar and Lounge started in June 2018. Carlo Panozzo of Folland
Panozzo Architects, Interior Designer Claire Kneebone and Matthews Hospitality Creative Director Sarah Matthews designed
the new fit-out, with the cost of refurbishment totaling $1.2 million.
Greenhouse Restaurant
The Greenhouse Restaurant is a sophisticated space offering an impressive dining experience in a chic and elegant atrium- style space. An exciting menu with British heritage that takes inspiration from the culinary experiences arising from the British Empire’s forays into Southeast Asia. Designed by Executive Chef Luke Brabin, the food dances along the spice trails of Singapore, China, and Malay and highlights produce from SA’s best local suppliers.
Garden Bar
Facing west, the new Garden Bar is an uplifting space for those wishing to entertain and be entertained. The room with its feature bar is adorned with lush greenery cascading from the shelves that feature an amazing array of unique and hard to find spirits. gins, vodkas and white rums are the flavour and there is an impressive range of tequila that is celebrated by the talented bartenders. There is also a house sangrita (tequila chaser) that features 24 secret ingredients. Cocktails and moreish snacks are the order around the banquet seating, warm pendant lighting, tall windows, large smoked mirrors, and contemporary Georgian highlights finish off the opulent garden aesthetic.
Lounge
Located adjacent to the Greenhouse is the Lounge – a cozy, inviting and luxe space open for drinks and snacks. The Lounge has its own specialised small bites menu, with a contemporary offering best accompanied by our signature drink list. The low- slung seating invites you to linger and the bar offer is anchored heavily in the darker side of things. Sipping whiskeys, rums and cognacs are the stars on the shelves and the bartenders are keen to have you swirling something smooth as you settle into the velvet lounges and lose track of time.
