STREET - Asian Fusion with TASTING AUSTRALIA

I don't think there's anything more that I enjoy after a long week than sitting down with my friends, eating good food, drinking good wine and talking for hours. That's why I'm so SO excited for the STREET - Asian Fusion event that's happening this weekend with Tasting Australia!

I have two favourite places in Adelaide, the East End (Which you can find me down nearly every weekend) and the Central Markets/Chinatown. My family have a tradition to head down to Gouger St every Friday morning to wander around the markets, people watch/drink iced chocolate's at Charlie's Place, and walk around Chinatown to find the silliest things possible to buy.

Moments like those are why I personally find it SO exciting that the new Chinatown Plaza redevelopment (of the food court!) is not only that it's open till 9pm on most nights, but that it's joined forces with TASTING AUSTRALIA to bring us an amazing Asian street food experience.

South Australia's 'kings of Asian fusion' will collaborate for one night only serving up the ultimate Asian food experience. In the heart of Chinatown, explore the redeveloped, luxurious Chinatown Plaza.

Expect a menu that will delight the tastebuds - bottomless plates await in the buzzing food vendor hub. Try celebrated street food from the Asian nations; drunken prawns, Cheung fun, curry fish balls, tofu, steamed eel in black bean sauce, squid and octopus tentacles, freshly handmade Langman (noodles), Kao Rou, crispy fried chicken, dumplings, duck and so much more. Ticket includes all the food you can eat (in your allocated sitting) and one drink from Tomich Wines on arrival.

My top four favourite things about this event includes:
1) It's affordable and this a big one for the Tasting Australia program. For the ticket price $73.47 (inc’s booking fee) you get a glass of wine on arrival followed by an all you can eat dinner - it's great value for a Saturday night out in the CBD.

2) The menu focuses is on delivering Asian flavours - something that has long been lacking on Tasting Australia program!

3) The food is approachable and appeals to all ages particularly being street food inspired. There will be some dishes that may challenge the palate but food will be coming all night, so if one dish doesn't tickle your fancy - the next one definitely will!

4) It's an event for the people, for the peoples' tummies - Haha!

Grab your friends, book your tickets HERE (just search the event), and I'll see you Saturday night!
Thank you for having us to experience the menu, Be Young PR!
