There’s a new makeup artist in town and she means
business!
Savannah is the beauty and brains behind SavannahMakeup Artistry, which officially launched last Friday night. The new business
will permanently reside at the gorgeous Onio Boutique, on Glynburn Road.
Many local businesses collaborated to help make the launch
night one to remember; it was a true celebration of entrepreneurship! Some of
the sponsors included, NYX Cosmetics Australia, Brow Shop, and Glam Lash Co!
Guests were treated to a delicious antipasto grazing
platter, gourmet treats, desserts and wine. There was a chance to win prizes
from a variety of local brands and each guest received a special thank you gift
bag from Savannah upon departure. Many also took advantage of the photo booth,
supplied by Halo Booth, to capture the perfect selfie on the night!
Now, let’s get to know a little bit more about Savannah
and why you’ll want to book your next makeup and/or hair styling appointment
with her!
Savannah’s journey began in 2015, when casual fun
with her friends on weekends quickly evolved into regular makeovers for an
expanding clientele. She decided to refine her skills by attending one of Australia’s
leading make up schools, Media Makeup Academy. The Academy combines excellence
in theory, training and practical applications. Savannah is now a fully
qualified makeup artist and professional hair stylist. Her skills put her in
high demand, so she decided to start her own business under the name of
Savannah Makeup Artistry. Makeovers and hair styling start from $50!
Savannah has a clear passion for the beauty industry
and it is evident in her work. She has collaborated with the Adelaide FringeFestival, Fashion at Fumos, Tropicana Beach Club, and many others!
Savannah emphasises that, “It has always been my
dream to work for myself and do what I love every day. I get to meet new
people, hear their stories, build relationships and most importantly, I get to
help them feel like their most confident and beautiful selves.”
