Akimitsu Australia is Adelaide’s newest exotic
restaurant, located on the iconic Hindley Street.
Their recently updated menu includes dishes like:
- Akimitsu Tempura
- Vegetable Tendon
- Ebi Tempura
This opulent Japanese restaurant earned the "King
of Tempura Bowl" gold award in Donburi championship of Japan in 2014,
which is the highest recognition of Tempura cuisine in Japan. Their experienced
chef prepares all ingredients with care, ensuring the batter is crisp and
golden with a perfect crunch, every time!
The restaurant make tempura all year round, however,
the vegetables and seafood are selected based on the seasons. Serving
exceptional local seasonal vegetables and top-quality seafood is their priority
and they certainly don’t disappoint!
Although it is clear that their Akimitsu Tempura is a
crowd pleaser, my personal favourites include the Karaage and Black Sesame
Gelato, which are both equally delicious and packed with flavour. Their Karaage
consists of 4 mouth-watering Japanese-style deep fried chicken pieces, topped
with Japanese mayonnaise; while the Black Sesame Gelato provides 2 scoops of
premium gelato served with salty caramel popcorn, butter cookie, crushed peanut
and seasonal fruit.
