Your 2024 Christmas Gift Guide

Do you have a friend who has everything already, and you have no idea what to buy them for Christmas? Or maybe you are that girl yourself and have completely run out of links to flick your family members as they desperately try to get you to return their 'What do you want for Christmas?' texts.

I've pulled together a few things that I myself want, gifts I've bought for others, and even a few items that I have bought myself Father Christmas is bringing me - what a good man.

So, let's have a read of my recommendations. I've collated them into Self, Home and Kitchen, and all are listed in ascending order. Let me know if you pick up any of the following (for friends, family, or yourself)!

SELF

Papier Italian Summer Hardback Plain Notebook $44

I was actually blown away when I saw these gorgeous notebooks (which I totally want to start junk journalling in) and then was even more impressed when I saw they're customisable! A large selection of styles, with my favourite being this pretty in pink hardback.

Printworks Moments That Matter The Most Photo Album $99

Between my film camera, Joel's film camera, our disposables and my recently gifted reloadable film camera, we have enough rolls of films lying around to fill up and album or two! And why are photo albums so damn ugly? Printworks creates some gorgeous albums, intended to be a feature for your coffee table or look beautiful on your shelf.

Furbish Studio High-End Gays Needlepoint Pillow $148

For your favourite high-end gay, help them mark their territory.

Hommey Studio Sherbet Stripes Robe $149

Throw out the robe your mum got you for Easter in 2012 and brighten up your mornings with this oh so comfy and colourful robe from Hommey. Double points if you get matching with your beau.

Studio Alyssum Balanced Libra Bouquet (Limited Edition) $260

I'm a Libra, so of course I want these blooms. But I have had my eye on a bunch from Studio Alyssum for a while now. AU based and such a fun take on artificial flowers (my grandma would love).

A variety of coffee table match sets are available from Flourish Gift and Home down King William Road. These are begging to be put on display and are a functional designer treat. Prices vary and available for viewing in-store.

HOME

Naked Sundays Hydrating Glow Mist Top Up Spray $29.95

Recommended by my dermatologist, this sunscreen spray can assist with topping up your SPF over makeup. But I mainly use it for a light spray of sunscreen on days where I'm mainly at my desk. Good to have on the go.

Etsy Martini Candle $42.55

Can you believe this is actually a candle! Spotted in another gift guide I saw on TikTok, a must have for your cocktail loving bestie.

Friend of Franki Build Your Own Custom Necklace from $79

Create your own charm necklace for yourself, or book in this experience for you and a friend to do together and hunt for charms that most suit your quirks.

Loewe Ivy soap bar duo set $120

Get your hands onto this Loewe soap set, a great gift for the bougie self care friend, or to host on your bathroom sink for the holidays.

FOREO LUNA play smart 2 $159

I've been longing for a cleansing tool to complement my skincare routine. This FOREO LUNA is a top seller on Mecca and best of all, comes in pink!

La Mer The Treatment Lotion Hydrating Mask 6 Masks $245

Sometimes, you just want something expensive and luxurious for the sake of it. These La Mer masks will put the star on the tree of your Xmas night, or win your favour with the Mother In Law.

Ultrahuman Bionic Gold Ring AIR from $349

For the girl who has everything, but not enough data. The Ultrahuman ring is the best one on the market (from my research), with the most data gathering available, colour selections, and no ongoing subscription fees. Also applicable for the girls who landed that man in finance and wants something sleek and techy to gift.

KITCHEN

Maldon Sea Salt Flakes $10

Absolutely necessary for any kitchen for finishing meals and adding extra flair with desserts.

Pistachio Papi Spread $19

Now this is the stuff I am obsessed with when I get my butterscotch Yochi. Cannot wait to get this delivery and try it out on multiple desserts over Christmas.

The Cooks Collective Glass Butter Dish $19.95

One we've asked for the kitchen. We're big on real butter, but having a dish keeping your butter at the perfect spreadable temperature makes all the difference when you come home with fresh baked bread from the bakery across the street.

Salisbury and Co. Riviera Salt Pig with Lid White $39.95

The perfect complement to your Maldon salt. Having your flaky salt on hand to finish off your dishes in this well-designed home makes it a great addition to the few select items you keep out on your kitchen bench. I like this one over the Le Creuset as this has a lid, and salt pulls in smells and flavours around if left exposed.

MacKenzie Childs Rosy Check Large Colander $119

I adore so many of MacKenzie Childs' kitchen items, and this colander is a great foray into the world of designer item kitchenware. She's going to love my many future batches of vodka pasta for sure.
