Sammy's On The Marina is an iconic part of why Glenelg has become a one-stop destination for all things Adelaide food and wine.
The relaxed and elegant dining by the sea boasts breath-taking 270° view of both the beach and the Marina... and if you’re lucky you might even spot some dolphins!
This award-winning seafood restaurant offers quality seafood platters as their specialty. On a windy Friday night, a very select few of Adelaide's most prominent bloggers, influencers and media were invited to experience Sammy's in all of their gorgeous seafood and champagne glory.
Sammy's food selection isn't finished without tasty and healthy seafood cuisine; as a huge seafood snob, the prawns and oysters were seriously some of the best I've ever had! Hosted in the spectacular upstairs function room, the location is perfect to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the sun setting over the ocean. If you're looking for something a little bit different, they also make some killer canapes and entrees, like the Salmon Cucumber and the Trio of Dips (Pro Tip - when you go, definitely get the garlic bread).
Sammy's menu boasts of a wide variety of other preparations like Lobster Thermidor & Grilled King George Whiting (perhaps the only fish in the world that is named after a King) which is the most popular of all. Everything about Sammy's just screams "Anniversary Date Night" with its boujee wine list and luxury interiors.
If you're looking for a restaurant that delivers exceptional service, provides a diverse menu and gives you glamour, glamour, glamour, book in with Sammy's for your next 'why not?!' dinner on the Marina Pier.
For my first time at Sammy's, I thought the food selection was perfectly curated and the positive energy with the staff to be a real delight to dine with.
Thank you to JLL, Anna-Louise, and Alison for hosting The Iconic Blonde at this wonderful event!
