Adelaide’s newest couture label, SHADOR, has officially launched its brand at the historic Norwood Town Hall while showcasing their glamorous SS18 collection.

Guests were treated to a glass of bubbles on arrival as well as an obligatory insta-worthy cheese platter from Persian Creation that satisfied everyone’s cravings.

On the runway, the collection featured an array of beautifully made dresses and jumpsuits - with care and love shown in every detail.

Our writer Tayla's favourite piece!

Guests watched in adoration over the intricate pieces that were made to suit a versatile size range. The elegant gowns, most richly embellished, sparkled beautifully down the runway. The designer’s traditional Persian background inspired the beaded designs which incorporated parallel bands filled with floral ornamentation and rich patterns.

Each piece was unique in colour which included deep tones of red, electric blues, midnight black, and frosty whites.

My stand out piece of the collection was a gorgeous frosted white wedding dress with a descending neckline. It was beautifully beaded with gold and specs of silver details. Not to mention the way that the soft, flowing fabric fell to the ground, highlighting beauty and elegance.

We were lucky enough to meet the gorgeous SHADOR designer, Shahrza Ravaji, after the show. With a contagious smile and excitement, you could truly tell how proud she was of her collection.

She explained that each piece was created ‘from the soul’ which was clear from the quality and attention to detail the designs had. She is a passionate and enthusiastic designer who strives to one day see SHADOR The Label grace the runways of Milan or Paris Fashion Week.

Congratulations to Shahrza for the gorgeous launch, I truly believe that your future is looking fab! Feel free to visit their website at shadorlabel.com and Instagram, @shadorlabel.
