If you've been looking for a place with enchanting glamour, mysterious charm and a love for everything vintage and elegant - Boy, do I have the club for you.
Nineteen Ten is Mr Minksy's Burlesque and Jazz Club - peering high over the rambunctious and randy on Hindley St, Nineteen Ten transports you to a time where jazz rifts rule and extravagance is never enough.
For the launch of this amazing club (hosted by Be Young PR), Adelaide's elite were ushered into a beautiful glass elevator which seemingly transported you back in time to reveal a hostess ready to introduce you to Nineteen Ten.
Upstairs, the main feature to turn heads - a rooftop pool which includes a stage for the burlesque dancers to perform on. The entertainment of the evening included a full jazz band, pumping out our favourite old diddy's like 'Dream a Little Dream of Me' and 'Fever'.
The starlets of the night certainly impressed - with Desert Rose performing her very best burlesque and Leopard Lass showing us that she is as hot as the fire she breathes.
I personally loved this club because it's an old-world glamour that Adelaide hasn't seen before - going all out on the entertainment and underlying seduction that the club evokes.
The performers were fabulous in a classy and beautiful way that you would only expect from a jazzy joint like Nineteen Ten.
I absolutely love this new take on a sophisticated nightlife and I know I will be going back as much as I can because it just fuels the Gossip Girl fantasy that I've been living since 2009 - Haha.
Note: To access Nineteen Ten, you have to go through the entrance of the Crazy Horse! Also, the bar staff were gems.
