It's official, Small Talk by Indy Stanton; the first ever single to be released by the up-and-coming 23-year-old artist, is the talk of the town.
Thanks to the artist, we had the pleasure of attending Indy Stanton’s Single Launch amongst a crowd of adoring fans, friends, and family.
The exceptionally talented young artist has already been featured on Triple J's website; but with a history spanning over a decade of making music, Stanton is set to become a household name in Alt-Pop.
Held at the Astor Hotel on Pulteney St, the black-tie event went off
with a bang when Indy treated her guests to an official screening of Indy’s debut clip Small
Talk.
Produced by Eslev and
mixed by two-time ARIA award nominated Gabriel Agostino, Small Talk is catchy, evocative, and above all, relatable. The debut video clip (below) takes us on a personal journey of relationships; featuring a provocative and forward-thinking storyline you're going to have to watch to believe.

After some elegant
speeches and a toast over champagne, Stanton took to the stage with guitarist
Hamish Bramley to perform the track live. Small Talk raised the roof
as the audience broke into song, reciting the words to this week-old track and creating a truly magical moment.
As the night came to
an end I had the chance to engage with Stanton who was both humble and charming, explaining that she came close to giving up her dream to pursue an alternative
path... and we’re certainly glad that she didn’t!
